Mike has over seven years of combined trading experience across a variety of asset classes; FX, Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities & Digital Assets. He has experience in a variety of trading styles, which include, day, flow, swing, trend, algorithmic, and arbitrage trading. Mike was most recently a FX discretionary trader at a Tier 1 proprietary trading firm in Chicago, IL. He also founded the Hanley Center Alumni Association, and currently sits on the Advisory Board for MMSpire Trading Company.
Mike was born and raised in Cleveland, OH, by a family of entrepreneurs, and started his first business at the age of 12. He was 1 of 12 students at the University of Dayton (UD) to receive a Certificate in Alternative Investments. While at UD, he held the COO position in the Flyer FOREX Fund, a leveraged currency portfolio managed by a student-run proprietary trading group with over 40 members. In addition, he was the Macroeconomic Team Leader for the Davis Center for Portfolio Management, a student run equity fund which managed $15.3MM of the UD’s endowment.
Mike received a Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurship, and Finance with a Certificate in Alternative Investments for the University of Dayton.
